We have Associate Safety Specialist opportunities within a global clinical contract research organisation (CRO). Working within the drug safety/ pharmacovigilance function you will be responsible for managing the serious adverse event (SAE) processes and the co-ordination of database activities. You will be required to maintain a knowledge and understanding of the organisation`s SOPs and WPDs in addition to current international regulations and guidelines relating to clinical trials, regulatory documents and safety issues. Successful candidates may either have a life sciences degree (e.g. Pharmacology, Biology), medical qualifications (GMC registration not required) or have nursing qualifications. Experience working within a clinical research or medical environment would be advantageous. Strong communication and teamworking skills are required along with an excellent level of attention to detail and accuracy in your work. Interested?
