Currently, we are seeking a Sales Account Executive for our Covance Clinical Pharmacology team. Ideal candidates will be currently based in the UK, France, Spain, Germany, Italy or Switzerland; UK preferred. In this role, you will be responsible for making initial contacts with potential new clients and maintaining contacts with existing clients, in order to generate Phase I, Phase IIa and Pharmacometrics sales, in line with agreed targets for Covance Clinical Research Unit (CRU). Your specific responsibilities will include: Identifying client companies with a requirement for Covance CRU services. Developing relationships with key personnel within potential and existing client companies to develop proposal activity for Phase I, Phase IIa and Pharmacometrics proposals to clients. Liaise with all functions within Covance CRU and elsewhere in Covance offices to ensure accurate and timely response to clients enquiries. Where assigned, present Requests For Proposals and Requests For Information to the Covance CRU Triage Group and coordinate responses both in-house and to the client. Management of client negotiations over pricing, method of payment, terms and conditions and scheduling to meet their requirements while ensuring financial returns for Covance. Obtain market and competitor intelligence from clients. Experience: Missing Education: Requirements: BSc in scientific discipline preferable or relevant practical experience. Experience within the pharmaceutical or related industry or from a competitor company. Must have previously been employed in the field of Pharmacometrics with a good working knowledge of the different disciplines and be aware of the need to perform all work to a high standard to maintain quality. Foreign language would be an advantage. Must be a team player but able to work independently. Must have excellent communication skills at all levels.
